I'm here to share 10 online business ideas I'd start if I wasn't so damn busy!
As many of you know, I've got a lot of businesses and projects on the go. I can't do it all. It would be foolish to think that I can. A lot of people try to do a million things at once, but all it's doing is diluting their focus. I would rather go deep and master one idea than attempt to pursue ten different things, half-ass.
A lot of people have amazing ideas, but they are afraid to share them because they live with a scarcity mentality. In my eyes, this reflects a lack of confidence. It doesn't matter what anyone else is doing. All that matters is that you believe in yourself.

A lot of people think about great ideas, but then they end up forgetting about them.
Why does this happen? Because they don't capture it. I've learned this the hard way, so now when I have an idea for something, I write it down, using Evernote. This is an online app that keeps your notes organized. It allows me to build up a vault of ideas so that I can tap into them when I'm planning out my goals.
I don't pursue ideas solely for money. Of course, any online business has to be profitable. However, I would rather do something that I enjoy and that will make a contribution to the world at large.
I believe that when you focus on things that make you come alive inside, the money naturally comes. Ideas have little value unless they are executed and marketed effectively. This is something that very few people are willing to do.
Here are 10 online business ideas I'd start if I wasn't so damn busy!
1. Buy Other Peoples' Businesses or Websites
A lot of people have websites or businesses that they are looking to sell because they have no idea how to market and monetize them. If you know how to do affiliate marketing or how to monetize things, this is an amazing opportunity for you to make passive income.
These are available for purchase, relatively cheaply, on marketplaces like Flippa or GoDaddy. If you have some solid marketing skills, you can buy these businesses, build them up or flip them. I think this is a great opportunity. I would like to pursue this a lot more in the near future.
2. Create A Free Mini-Course To Promote Affiliate Products
The intention in creating something like this is to provide massive value to your audience. Before you start creating it, you first need to identify the niche and the products within that niche that you want to promote or sell. Within this course, you will be promoting different products or tools that are essential to go along with that course.
Whenever you provide something valuable, for free, and people benefit from it, all of the sudden they are more open to checking out what you have to offer. This is a great strategy that you can utilize for a wide range of different niches.
For example, let's say you are interested in creating a free mini-course on “How to Overcome A Binge Eating Disorder in 7 Days.” You provide people with different strategies, alongside video content and articles.
Over that 7-day period, you may promote or offer a few different products that could help people master other areas of their life as well. You will be an affiliate for these things that you promote. If people end up buying these products from you, you will get a commission from that.
3. Create A Free Challenge Site To Drive Traffic To Your Products
I own the domain name, 30daymorningritualchallenge. I've got a lot of great resources on morning rituals on my blog and YouTube channel. I've also created a course called, Morning Ritual Mastery.
I want to transform that website into a free challenge site where people can be actively involved. If you have your own product, which I do, then you can promote through that challenge site. Similarly, you could also be an affiliate and promote other people's products as well.
This is all about providing value to people and creating an experience for them that will legitimately help them to be able to achieve the results that they desire.
4. Develop A Binge Eating Program
As a result of taking part in two different fitness competitions in 2012 and 2014, I ended up developing a binge eating disorder. This was one of the most painful things that I've ever gone through in my life. I scoured the Internet for solutions. I read every book that I could in order to overcome this disorder.
I found that there wasn't a lot of quality stuff out there. If you've been through something and overcome it, there's a lot of people who could benefit from your insights. Eventually, I filmed a binge eating YouTube video that has one million views now.
I still get people who reach out to me all the time after watching my binge eating video. This proved to me that there's a big market here and a great opportunity to help people. You could interview people on YouTube about the disorder, create blog content, develop video training programs, do affiliate marketing, or sell physical products that could help people.
4. Publish A Book
I've published a lot of different books over the last few years. However, a lot of these books positioned me as the publisher instead of the author. I've written some of my own books in the past but haven't made it a priority to sell them.
As many of you know, I've created a course that teaches people how to publish books without actually writing them. You can hire writers to work for you and buy their work, which you then market and earn the royalties from. I've got a lot of ideas for books that I want to write, but it's a lot of work to do so. I've been way too busy to commit to something like this.
My strategy for writing a book in the future is to take the traditional publishing route.
I'm in a different position now. I have a bigger audience and following, which means that I can go to a publishing company and receive an advance from them. We could work together and they could give me a much greater distribution beyond my own audience.
It will take a lot of work in order to ensure that the book is amazing and that I have a great marketing strategy around it. My end goal is to get on the New York Times Best Seller List.
If a book fits within a specific niche or market that has a high demand, self-publishing is a great opportunity. It serves as a powerful marketing tool that allows you to build your list and your brand. Regardless of how much money you make from writing a book, the authority, credibility, and relationships that you build with people are what matters most.
5. Sell Nootropic Products
Nootropics are certain supplements that have cognitive benefits to them, whether that's for your memory, energy levels, or focus. In the future, I would like to sell products like this on Amazon and build my own brand around them.
I would probably position this product to online entrepreneurs. These are people that spend a lot of time in front of the computer. I think this is a big market to create a nootropic or performance-based supplement line that could help these types of people.
6. Create Time Management Planners
There are a lot of time management planners out there that already exist. However, I have my own strategies and formula for time management that are unique and that I think people would resonate with them. Planners are great because people buy them as gifts for friends or loved ones.
The planner then becomes a part of someone's life and something that they use every single day. That is powerful marketing. When your product plays a daily role in someone else's life, and then they run out of pages in their planner, they will be more inclined to buy more from you. This allows you to expand the value of a lifetime customer. You could also create an app that goes along with your planner.
Additionally, there is an opportunity for an information component on the backend, where you could provide training and more information that could further help people. I would probably start by selling these planners on Amazon, Shopify, and my own website and build a brand around them.
The reason why I like this product idea is that there is a massive leverage component attached to it. A huge mistake that a lot of people make is that they try to market and build their product themselves, but they fail to take advantage of leverage.
If you have a product like a planner, this presents a great opportunity to seek out a network of other influencers who have a big following that you can give your product to, for free. This allows them to promote your product to their audience. You could even get people to sponsor your product. Now you are leveraging someone else's credibility. That is one of my favorite ways to market.
7. Develop A Relationship Program
In the next few years, my girlfriend Tatiana and I would like to create a relationship training program together. We want to share the practices and principles that we live by that makes our relationship great. I've spent a lot of time in the relationship niche because I used to be involved in it.
Although it's a big market, I've noticed that the tantra niche, in particular, is really lacking with regards to teaching people how they can integrate tantric practices into their relationships.
I know some of the big tantra teachers who are out there, but I find that a lot of them aren't that great at marketing themselves. People get turned off by their messages because they are too spiritual and airy fairy in their communication of it.
A lot of people don't realize that, when you have great ideas like these, you don't necessarily have to take action on your own. You can partner with an expert who serves as the face of the product, and you can be the one that markets it.
8. Coach & Consult
In today's fast-paced technological world, what's lacking is the one-on-one personal connection that coaching and consulting can provide for people. Coaching and consulting are great ways to add value to people's lives while making money at the same time.
I love coaching, so much so that I built my career around it. However, my time is so much more limited now and my services are so much more expensive, that I haven't been able to do this nearly as much as I would like to.
If you have specific skills that people need help with, there will always be someone who is willing to pay you for that knowledge. This is why it's imperative that you become a master at one or two skills in your life. This is how you will be able to help people achieve massive results.
In the future, I would like to position myself as a coach in certain areas of life or niches that I also have a passion for. Right now my rates are very expensive, so my work is more targeted towards people with businesses. Those are the people who are willing to spend a larger amount of money. It's harder to charge more for relationship or confidence coaching versus marketing consulting.
9. Develop Software
This requires a lot more experience and resources to create. However, whenever there are growing trends in the online world, people are always willing to pay money to save them time so that they can automate their businesses and lives.
There are two ways that you can save time. You can either hire someone or buy a software program that can run on autopilot and do the work for you. For example, there are a lot of Amazon sellers who are looking for ways to build their businesses, easier and faster.
If you can create a software that makes life easier for these sellers, now you have a huge market of people who will buy your product and use it.
10. Offer Done-For-You-Services
People will pay you more money for anything that can save them time and accelerate the process of success. I've started doing this in my business. For example, I have a service that I've trained my team to do where we will set up someone's online sales funnel or build a website for them, as a bonus for signing up for my Affiliate Marketing Mastery course.
These 10 online business ideas are aligned with my personal interests.
If any of you want to take my ideas and run with them, go for it! I'm not intimidated by that because I just want people to excel. I have an unwavering belief in my ability to offer my unique gifts and market them in a way that creates an epic customer experience.
What are your ideas that can help you build your online business? Anybody can give you an idea. However, if you can come up with your own unique and creative ideas that are based on your passions, that is what will make you truly successful. In the words of Bruce Lee, “Knowledge is not enough. We must apply.”
I encourage you to tap into your creative side and be an idea-generating machine so that one day you can pursue them. In life, you can either be a leader or a follower. Which one are you?
